Frequently Asked Questions
Can I just show up and sell on the day of the event?
No — vending is registration-only. No walk-in vending is allowed. All vendors must be registered in advance through this form.
Can sisters vend on the brothers' side, or vice versa?
No. Spaces are strictly separated by side. Sisters' spaces are in the front yard of the Sisters' building; brothers' spaces are in the front parking lot of the Brothers' building.
I'm a brother — can I go to the sisters' vending area?
Only to buy something, and you must return immediately afterward. Security will escort anyone lingering back to the brothers' side.
Can I store extra stock or materials inside the masjid building?
No. Vendor stock and materials may not be stored inside the masjid building. Please plan accordingly — everything stays at your space.
What time do I need to set up?
Vendor check-in begins at 10:30 AM on Friday. Please arrive on time to avoid disrupting the setup process. Vendors may leave their tents overnight; however, MTWS is not responsible for any loss or damage.
Setup will begin after check-in is complete. No early arrivals will be permitted. 10:30–11:15 AM: sisters with male assistants may set up during this time — all male assistants must leave promptly by 11:15 AM. 11:15 AM–12:00 PM: setup for sisters without male assistants.
How are vending spaces assigned?
Spaces are selected at check-in on a first-come, first-serve basis. A sign with a QR code will be posted in a designated location in front of each building. Each space is 10ft × 10ft.
What should I bring?
Bring everything you need to run your space: tents, tables, chairs, signs, change, and a container for trash disposal. You are welcome to leave tents up overnight, but MTWS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
When do I need to be torn down?
Everything must be torn down and wrapped up by Sunday Asr time.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?
Yes, refunds are available up to 5 days before the event start date (or the specific deadline shown on your confirmation email for standalone vending events). To request a refund, use your confirmation code at our refund request page.
How do I prove I'm a registered vendor on-site?
Your confirmation code — sent in your confirmation email after payment — serves as your proof of registration. An auditor will walk the vending area with a printed vendor list and ask for your name, phone number, and confirmation code.
Can I sell books?
No. The sale of books is prohibited — this includes Islamic books, children's books, and educational material. Please plan your inventory accordingly.
Where should I park after setting up?
After setting up, please park at the rear of MTWS to allow attendees easy access to parking near the vending area.
